New facilities of the Gissar group of fields are launched in Kashkadarya region

At the event organized in this connection, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Aripov, the President of Russia’s Lukoil company V.Alekperov and others noted that as a result of creation of a favorable investment climate under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the participation of foreign companies in the process of economic development of Uzbekistan is expanding.

Within the framework of the South-West Gissar project, integrated gas treatment unit with a project capacity of 4,4 billion cubic meters per year, a gas pre-treatment unit, as well as six gas gathering stations were put into operation. The launch of these facilities will allow the extraction of gas in Gissar group of fields at a projected level of 5 billion cubic meters per year.

Lukoil company, one of the largest oil and gas corporations in the world, is successfully implementing a number of investment projects in our country on exploration, development of promising fields, deep processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, supply of finished products to the domestic and foreign markets.

It should be noted that the agreement on division of products in the territory of South-Western Gissar and Ustyurt region for a period of 36 years came into force in April 2007. Lukoil entered the South-West Gissar project in March 2008.

At the end of 2011, early gas was produced at Djarkuduk-Yangi Kyzylcha field. In October 2014, within the framework of “Full development of Gissar” project, a contract providing for the design, supply and construction of gas condensate fields Odamtosh, Gumbulak and Djarkuduk-Yangi Kyzylcha was signed.

Work on construction, launching and repair of major technological and production facilities was completed in July 2017. Within the framework of the project, 300 kilometers of high-voltage transmission lines, two electric substations, a 126-kilometer highway were commissioned. 64 thousand cubic meters of concrete and 286 kilometers of linear pipes were laid, 12 thousand tons of metal structures and 4 thousand tons of equipment were installed.
