May 27 – 30, Tashkent turns a meeting place for the major players in the textile market within the International Exhibition ‘TextileExpo Uzbekistan 2015.’
The novelty of the exhibition is that for the first time visitors of TextileExpo Uzbekistan can take part in a true fashion event. On May 27-28 the International Festival ‘Fashion and Design 2015’ will review the works of foreign designers and experts.
It is expected the participation in the expo of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, the Association of Textile Designers and the SES Company (Germany), specialists of the Tokyo Institute of Design and the Kyoto Institute of Technology (Japan), the Korea Institute of Textile and Fashion, the Youngone Company (Korea), the Textile and Fashion Federation of Singapore, the Koton Company (Turkey), and many others.
This year, TextileExpo Uzbekistan gets involved more than 70 companies from 11 countries: Belarus, India, Indonesia, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Japan. According to the organizers, 40% of the exhibition is occupied Uzbekistan companies, while 60% - foreign manufacturers and brands.
Special ‘Buyers Program’ conducted since 2011 within the exhibition also contributes to the development of the export potential of Uzbek manufacturers and contributes to expand the geography of their sales.
A separate section presents manufacturers of textile machinery. This year, 33 companies represent the industry of textile machinery of China. Yarns, fabrics and equipment will be presented by companies from India and Indonesia.
