In particular, new tariffs have been introduced. As explained (http://cbu.uz), the Central Bank, under the new tariff plan, which entered into force on March 15 of this year, rents for payment terminals for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are reduced by 50%. The fee for legal entities now amounts to 5 euros, and for individual entrepreneurs - up to 2.5 euros (at the rate of the Central Bank).
Another innovation. Before the interest accrued on the balances of the amounts on the accounts of plastic cards of individuals was not less than the refinancing rate of the Central Bank (at the moment - 9%). Now the capitalization of residual funds on plastic cards will be carried out on the basis of contracts with commercial banks.
And other innovations are related to the fact that banks are taking measures to expand the infrastructure of plastic cards. At the moment, the procedure for issuing short-term consumer loans on bank cards (overdraft) is being developed. Interest rates on them will be established by the banks themselves on a contractual basis, based on their domestic credit policy. In addition, banks together with trade and service organizations will continue the practice of introducing a variety of bonus, discount and incentive programs aimed at increasing the attractiveness of plastic cards.
