Government to build plant for excavators' maintenance

On January 6, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev signed a decree “On measures to optimize the investment project “Construction of plant for maintenance of excavators and tracked vehicles”.

The document has approved the proposal of the JSC O’zbekistan Temir Yo’llari on the construction of the plant on the basis of wagon-wheel workshops of UE Uztemiryulmashtamir, located in Syrdarya city.

The investment project on construction of the plant will be implemented during 2017-2018 in the following schedule: till 01.04.2017, JSC Uzbekistan Temir Yollari has been charged to submit the feasibility study of the investment project for approval to the Cabinet of Ministers; the construction of the plant will be carried out simultaneously with the development of design and estimate documentation till 01.07.2017.

The property transferred as part of the investment project on a gratuitous basis between JSC "Uzbekistan Railways" and its structural units, is exempt from value added tax, income tax of legal entities, as well as the tax on improvement and development of the social infrastructure.

The First Deputy of Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Chairman of the JSC O’zbekistan Temir Yollari" Ramatov A.J. has been entrusted with the execution of the above decree.
