Doing business in the Tashkent region

Investment Forum "Doing Business in the Tashkent region" was held in "Uzexpocentre" NEC.

More than 200 representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in our country, businessmen and investors from more than 20 countries, such as Russia, France, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey, USA, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Malaysia and Singapore.

On the first day of the two-day forum, the presentation of business projects on tourism, industry, agriculture and pharmaceuticals in the Tashkent region was held. Hokim of the region G. Ibragimov acquainted representatives of foreign business circles with the investment climate, conditions and opportunities of the region.

At the event, representatives of Bulgaria, Tatarstan and China expressed their views on the benefits of doing business in the Republic of Uzbekistan, particularly in the capital region, the conditions, opportunities and benefits created for investors.
Within the framework of the forum in the pavilion "Uzexpocentre" an exhibition of industrial, tourist, agricultural products was organized 200 entrepreneurs of the region.

"At our enterprise, an average of 10,000 tons of quality chicken meat is annually harvested," says R. Kambarov, head of the Sakhovat Broyler LLC of the Pskent district. "The products are mainly exported to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Arab countries.

Participants of the event visited the "Angren" free economic industrial zone, got acquainted with the enterprises operating here and manufactured products.

According to preliminary data, agreements on 10 projects worth $ 250 million were signed within the forum with foreign investors.
