Closing the plant in Asaka for preventive maintenance will not prevent GM Uzbekistan to fulfill all contractual obligations in due time and in full to put finished products.
This is said in the statement of the company posted on the Facebook page.
According to the statement, the preventive maintenance will not affect the delivery schedules both within and outside of the country. Shipment of cars will be continued as planned, including R2 and Nexia R3 deliveries will be on the previously agreed volumes and terms.
The company vehicles are manufactured to order with prepayment.
‘Khorezm Auto’, GM Uzbekistan plant in Khorezm region, will continue to work normally. The plant was commissioned in 2013 and preventive maintenance does not require production stoppage.
